“When I was growing up, TV was better than it is today. We had shows like “Doogie Howser“ that taught kids if they put their mind to it they could do anything. These days we have shows like “The Hills“ which basically tells kids if you put your mouth on it, you can do anything.“
| Comic Adam Ray has plenty to joke about. From growing up a fat kid in Lake Forest Park, WA and being a TV junkie, to playing Wolverine at the University City theme park and having some strange ideas about student teachers and mustaches. On his debut comedy release, FAT CAMP, he covers it all sometimes he even sings about it.
After graduating from USC with a BFA in acting, Adam hit the ground running and has spent the past five 5 years performing all over the country, the UK, and Canada. He made his television debut guest starring on ABC‘s “According to Jim.“ He has also performed improv with Second City, The Groundlings, and the Upright Citizens Brigade ( NY & LA ) produced content for National Lampoon, been featured on Myspace comedy, has had 6 videos featured on Myspace.com, funnyordie.com, collegehumor.com, digg.com, and his Kermit the Frog reaction video to “2 girls 1 cup“ has gotten over 5 million views on youtube.com.
His sketch show pilot “AdamRayTV“ took home Viewer‘s Choice Award for best new pilot at the 2007 ITVfest in Los Angeles. Since then, in addition to stand-up, Adam also bring his ideas to life through his web portal www.AdamRayTV.com, where youll find countless original short films, pilots, and web series all from the mind of this TV junkie.
