| Canada has given us hockey, beer, and now Matthew Murray. Originating in the poorly designed city of Calgary Alberta, Matthew has grown into the Western Canadian voice of comedy. In his newest work, DRAMA KING, he tackles everything from kids, marriage, gangsta rap and more. From complaining about the battle of weight loss, through to keeping the spark in the bedroom, Matthew dissects subjects with a characteristically crafty Canadian approach.
In his eight year career as a stand-up, Matt has taken everything life has thrown at him, and turned into a wonderfully original tale of our world from his view. He enjoys every time the audience goes ‘Oh yeah, I‘ve noticed that.“ For the shared experiences is where the heart of comedy lies for Matthew.
